Shopping works. Almost nobody does it, because it means repeating your income, your debts and your Social Security number to five strangers who then call you for a month. BeatMyRate does the shopping without any of that.
How it works
Three steps. One day. No phone calls.
Upload the offer you have
Drop in the Loan Estimate your lender already sent you — PDF, screenshot, or photo. We strip your name, address, phone, email and SSN before another human sees it.
Never seen a Loan Estimate?Lenders bid blind
Vetted, state-licensed originators see your loan — amount, credit band, property type, and the terms to beat — but never you. They have 24 hours to counter.
See the bidding rulesYou pick, then they call
We rank every bid by true cost, not just headline rate. Nobody gets your contact details until you choose one — and you can walk away and keep your original lender.
How we protect your dataThe difference that matters
We are not a lead seller.
Most “compare mortgage rates” sites are lead generators. You fill in a form, your details are sold to four to eight lenders at once, and your phone does not stop for three weeks. That business model pays the site whether or not you ever save a cent.
Ours only pays when a lender genuinely beats your offer and you choose them. Until that moment, bidders see a loan file — not a person.
Anonymous by default
Your name, address, phone, email and SSN are removed before any lender sees your file. We show them the loan, never the borrower.
Contact released only on your click
One lender gets your details — the one you pick. The rest never learn who you were.
No credit pull to shop
Bidding runs off the credit band already on your Loan Estimate. Your score is untouched until you formally apply with a lender you chose.
Every bidder is license-verified
We check NMLS registration and state licensing before an originator can bid, and re-check it monthly.
Don’t have a Loan Estimate?
Most people have one and don’t know it.
It’s a three-page federal form every lender must send you within three business days of your application. It is probably sitting in your inbox right now, attached to an email from your loan officer.
We’ll show you exactly what it looks like, which five boxes decide whether you’re overpaying, and give you a copy-paste email that gets one from your lender in a day.

Questions
Fair things to ask
What does this cost me?
Nothing, ever. Lenders pay us a flat fee — and only when you pick them. We never take a cut of your rate, which means we have no reason to steer you toward an expensive loan.
Will my phone start ringing?
No. Bidding lenders never receive your contact details. Exactly one lender — the one you choose — gets them, at the moment you choose. If you pick nobody, nobody ever learns who you are.
Does this hurt my credit score?
No. Shopping here involves no credit inquiry at all. When you do formally apply with a lender you picked, that single pull counts once; federal rules let you gather mortgage quotes within a 45-day window with no additional score impact.
Am I locked into anything?
No. You can take the best bid, use it as leverage to make your current lender match, or ignore all of it. Plenty of people use us purely to find out whether the deal they already have is fair.
Will I lose my closing date?
That’s the real risk in switching late, so we surface it up front: every bid must state a commitment to your existing closing date, and we flag any bid that can’t meet it before you ever consider it.
What if nobody beats my offer?
Then you find out your lender already gave you a strong deal — which is worth knowing, and costs you nothing. We tell you plainly rather than manufacturing a “winner.”
